Last week I flew to New Zealand with Air New Zealand.
I got a perfect price with Super Saver or Seat Only fare (don't remember exact name) which doesn't include the food. I'm ok with that, I thought I will buy some snacks during the flight. It's not a long flight either way. However when I tried to order some food in the middle of the flight - flight attendant informed us that there is no sandwiches left and they can offer chips or cupcakes! What a disgrace! I was very disappointed - if you have a lot of seats with no food option please be so kind and have enough sandwiches on board. Boooo, Air NZ, boooo...
Apart from that, trip to New Zealand was fantastic. And I especially liked the self-promotion poster in one of Auckland restrooms. The poster in front of one urinal says - "The power is in your hands, please vote for Auckland Airport". I liked that part "the power is in your hands" :))
